Balmoral Show 2017
PM Theresa May and Secretary of State James Brokenshire with Alastair and Eric of Corndale Farm.
Balmoral Show has come and gone. What a busy 4 days we had. It was our first time exhibiting at Balmoral Show and it was at was big undertaking for us as such a young company.
Our charcuterie products went down a storm and we sold out of all our stock! It was great to meet so many new customers and meet some existing customers. I always love talking to our customers and hearing what they do with our products. We got amazing feedback from all and I would like to thank everyone who stopped with us, heard our story and bought our products.
Day one we did a cookery demo with the talented Paula McIntyre, who cooked up some of our chorizo and gave her seal of approval on our new venison salami.
By day 4 we were starting to feel the exhibitor fatigue and our legs were getting heavy, we had to give ourselves a shake as we were asked the previous day if we would like to host PM Theresa May at our stand. Of course we obliged and on Saturday we had the PM stop by our stand, hear our story and try our products. She even left with a pack of our yummy fennel salami. In her words it was …”Mmmm Very Good!”
So now all the fuss of Balmoral show is over its back to the grind stone. We already have the cabinets re-filled with lovely chorizo and salami and have some of our new air dried loins curing.
Thanks again to everyone we met at Balmoral and we hope to see you all again next year!!
